The throne is decorated with vertical strut ornamentation. The Greek legend BAΣIΛEΩΣ to the right and AΛEΞANΔΡOΥ to the left frames the central type. A monogram or control mark appears beneath the throne in the exergue, consistent with the Mesambrian mint series as catalogued in Price 1000–1007. |
