| Obverse description | Youthful head of Heracles facing right, depicted beardless and wearing a lion skin headdress, with the scalp's gaping jaw visible atop the head and the forelegs knotted at the neck. The portrait is rendered in high relief with finely detailed curling hair visible beneath the pelt, in the tradition of the posthumous Alexandrine coinage. A beaded border encircles the coin's periphery. |
