The vertical Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ appears to the right of the throne, reading downward. A control monogram occupies the left field. The composition follows the standard Alexandrine reverse type established during Alexander III's lifetime and perpetuated by his successors. |
