| Obverse description | Head of the deified Herakles in right profile, wearing the characteristic lion-skin headdress with the scalp drawn over the crown and the mane falling behind the neck. The facial features are rendered in the heroic idealized style typical of late Alexandrine coinage, with strong brow, prominent nose, and slightly parted lips. The flan is broad and irregularly shaped, with the effigy centrally placed and occupying the majority of the field. No legend appears on the obverse, consistent with the Alexandrine type throughout its production. |
