Reverse description A nude or lightly clad horseman advancing to the left, seated upon a walking horse with a stylized, braided mane and raised forelegs. The rider raises his left arm above his head, holding a branching plant or palm frond. The horse's musculature and tail are rendered in a bold, schematic style typical of Dacian barbarous imitations of the Macedonian Philip II tetradrachm prototype. A globule or pellet appears beneath the horse in the lower field, and no legend or inscription is present.
