Reverse description Nike standing facing left, wearing a long chiton and holding a palm branch in her left hand and extending a wreath with her right; the figure is set upon a base or prow. The design is enclosed within a broad olive wreath tied at the base. To the left of Nike, the Greek letters HΞP appear above Λ and ΔC in the field; to the right, the ethnic legend APAΔIΩN runs vertically downward. The overall composition is characteristic of the civic coinage of Arados during the autonomous era.
