| Obverse description | Draped bust of Tyche facing right, wearing a turreted mural crown with multiple battlements, her hair arranged in tight curls at the temple with long tresses falling behind the neck. The effigy is rendered in fine Hellenistic style with naturalistic modelling of the facial features. The field to the right is largely plain. No legend appears on the obverse. |

| Reverse description | Nike standing facing left, wearing a long chiton and holding a palm branch in her left hand and extending a wreath with her right; the figure is set upon a base or prow. The design is enclosed within a broad olive wreath tied at the base. To the left of Nike, the Greek letters HΞP appear above Λ and ΔC in the field; to the right, the ethnic legend APAΔIΩN runs vertically downward. The overall composition is characteristic of the civic coinage of Arados during the autonomous era. |
