| Obverse description | Central device depicts a cista mystica — a sacred wicker basket with a slightly open lid — from which a serpent emerges to the left, rendered in fine relief. A tall ear of grain rises diagonally from the cista, flanked by a bow and quiver in the field. The entire composition is enclosed within a wreath of ivy leaves and clusters of berries, arranged in a continuous border around the coin's perimeter, characteristic of the Cistophoric coinage type of western Asia Minor. |

| Reverse description | Two coiled serpents, rendered in high relief with sinuous bodies, flank a central bow-case (gorytos) decorated with a relief panel, their heads confronting one another at the upper register. A rectangular tablet in the upper field bears the magistrate's name and patronymic in two lines of Greek legend. The city abbreviation ΛΑΟ appears to the left in the field, while a thyrsus is visible to the right. The overall composition follows the standard reverse type of Cistophoric tetradrachms struck under Roman provincial authority in Phrygia. |
