Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a stool-throne, his draped figure rendered in authoritative profile; his outstretched right hand supports an eagle with spread wings, while his left hand grasps a long sceptre. The primary legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs to the right of Zeus. In the left field, the magistrate's name ΗΦΑΙΣΤΙΩΝ is inscribed vertically above a Rhodian rose, and the civic ethnic ΡΟ appears below the throne, identifying the mint as Rhodes.
