The king is depicted in Hellenistic style with a chlamys fastened at the shoulder. A circular Greek legend surrounds the effigy reading ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΔΙΚΑΙΟΥ ΗΛΙΟΚΛΕΟΥΣ, meaning 'of the just king Heliokles', rendered in bold relief against the field.
