| Obverse description | Diademed and draped bust of Heliokles II facing right, wearing a royal diadem with flowing ends visible behind the neck. The king is depicted in Hellenistic style with a chlamys fastened at the shoulder. A circular Greek legend surrounds the effigy reading ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΔΙΚΑΙΟΥ ΗΛΙΟΚΛΕΟΥΣ, meaning 'of the just king Heliokles', rendered in bold relief against the field. |

| Reverse description | Zeus standing facing, nude but for a chlamys draped over his left arm, holding a long sceptre or thunderbolt in his right hand and a palm branch in his left. A small monogram appears in the lower central field below the deity's feet. The entire design is encircled by a Kharosthi legend reading 'Maharajasa Dhramikasa Heliyakreyasa' ('of the just great king Heliokles'), executed in the characteristic Indo-Greek bilingual tradition. |
