Obverse description Helmeted head of Athena facing right, wearing a Attic crested helmet adorned with a floral palmette above the visor and three olive leaves at the base of the crest. The goddess's hair falls in long wavy locks beneath the helmet bowl, and her facial features are rendered in the late Hellenistic style characteristic of the New Style coinage of Athens. A dotted border encircles the design within the round flan.
