Obverse description Laureate and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gallienus facing right, depicted in imperial military dress with paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The portrait follows the Alexandrian provincial style, with a slightly idealized rendering of the emperor's features. The encircling legend in Greek characters reads AVT K Π ΛIK ΓAΛΛIHNOC CEB, identifying Gallienus with his imperial titulature.
