Obverse description Stylized frontal facing head rendered in the Celtic artistic tradition, flanked at either side by vestigial wing elements. The head is surmounted by a prominent three-tiered diadem terminating in crescent-shaped finials, above which rises a band of wavy, abstracted hair rendered in the La Tène decorative style. The facial features are schematically rendered, reflecting the indigenous Celtic reinterpretation of Hellenistic prototypes.

Reverse description A horse prancing to the left, depicted in the highly stylized Celtic manner characteristic of East Noric coinage, with the body rendered in bold relief and the mane delineated by a row of pellets. Above the horse, a prominent spiral or curvilinear ornament occupies the upper field, a hallmark of La Tène decorative vocabulary. The legs are rendered in an abstracted, segmented fashion, and a small pellet appears at the horse's shoulder. The overall composition reflects the progressive abstraction of the Macedonian Philip II tetradrachm prototype.
