Reverse description Nude rider on horseback prancing to the right, holding a palm branch in the outstretched right hand, derived from the Macedonian royal victory type. The Greek legend ΦΙΛΙΠ-ΠΟΥ is disposed around the design in two segments, faithfully reproducing the Macedonian prototype inscription. Below the horse, the letter Λ and a torch appear as control marks, while a star and a wedge-shaped symbol are placed beneath the horse's raised foreleg. The style of the equestrian figure, though rooted in the Philip II tetradrachm tradition, displays subtle Celtic reinterpretation in the rendering of the horse's anatomy and proportions.
