Obverse description Bare head of the nymph Kyme facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with softly modelled features and an idealized youthful countenance. The hair is elaborately dressed and bound with a taenia, with tightly rolled locks arranged across the crown and gathered into a large circular bun at the nape of the neck. The portrait fills the flan with considerable artistry, the neck truncation falling near the lower edge of the coin. The field is plain and uninscribed.
