Obverse description Facing left, the draped head of Aphrodite is rendered in fine archaic-transitional style, her hair bound in an ampyx and sphendone. She wears a single-pendant earring and a pearl necklace, with the ethnic inscription K-NI flanking the neck on either side. A prow directed to the left appears behind the neck, serving as an additional civic emblem of Knidos.

Reverse description The forepart of a lion striding to the left occupies the central field within a recessed incuse square, rendered with bold naturalistic detail characteristic of Knidian coinage of this period. To the left of the lion appears the magistrate's name ΕΥΔΩΡΟΣ in Greek letters, accompanied by a bee symbol, serving as an additional identifying device. The incuse square border is sharply defined, consistent with the hammered technique employed at this mint.
