Obverse description Stylized laureate male head facing right, rendered in the Celtic La Tène artistic tradition with abstracted, lenticular features. The hair is depicted as a series of pellets and flowing curvilinear locks radiating from the crown. The facial relief is bold and highly schematized, characteristic of late Celtic coinage of the Norican region. A dotted border partially frames the design along the upper periphery.
