Reverse description Zeus Aetophoros enthroned left on a backless throne, his upper body nude and his lower body draped, holding an eagle perched on his outstretched right hand and a long sceptre upright in his left. In the left field, a control monogram appears, and the letters ΔΙ are placed below the throne as a secondary control mark. The legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs in two lines flanking the enthroned deity, identifying the coin as issued in the name of Alexander the Great.
