Beschrijving voorzijde Diademed and horned head of Demetrios I Poliorcetes facing right, rendered in the idealized Hellenistic portrait style. The effigy bears a prominent bull's horn rising above the diadem, a divine attribute associating the king with the god Dionysos or Poseidon. The hair is rendered in deeply engraved flowing locks swept back from the brow, framing a youthful, classically proportioned face with sharp features. The portrait is set within a finely executed border of dots and fills the flan with characteristic Macedonian artistic boldness. No legend appears on the obverse field.

Beschrijving keerzijde Poseidon Pelagaios standing left in a heroic, contrapposto pose, his right foot raised and resting upon a rocky outcropping, his muscular nude body depicted with Hellenistic anatomical precision. The god holds a long trident upright in his left hand, while his right arm is extended and resting upon his raised knee. Monograms of the mint magistrate appear in the outer left and right fields, serving as control marks. The royal legend ΔΗΜΗΤΡΙΟΥ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ — meaning 'of King Demetrios' — is inscribed along the upper and lower periphery of the reverse in bold Greek majuscule letters.
