Reverse description Poseidon Pelagaios standing left, nude, his right foot resting on a rocky promontory, holding a trident upright in his right hand and resting his left arm upon his knee in a pose of composed authority. The god is rendered in a vigorous Hellenistic style with fine musculature. The royal legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ to the left and ΔΗΜΗΤΡΙΟΥ to the right is inscribed vertically in the field flanking the figure, reading downward in Greek letters. The design is enclosed within a dotted border, and various control marks may appear in the field.
