Obverse description Laureate head of Zeus facing right, rendered in fine high relief with a full beard and flowing hair beneath the laurel wreath. The portraiture displays a commanding, mature visage characteristic of late 4th-century Macedonian die-cutting. A beaded border encircles the coin's periphery. The field is plain, with no legend or inscription, consistent with Philip II-type tetradrachms struck posthumously under Demetrius I Poliorcetes.
