Reverse description Poseidon Pelagios standing nude in three-quarter view facing left, striding forward with his right arm raised and brandishing a trident overhead, his left arm extended outward. To the left of the figure a large monogram (ΙΑΡ) is visible in the lower field, and to the right a six-pointed star or sunburst symbol appears in the mid-field alongside the letter A. The Greek royal legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΔΗΜΗΤΡΙΟΥ is inscribed, reading partially along the right and lower portions of the field. The design is enclosed within a dotted border, reflecting the fine die-engraving tradition of the Ephesian mint.
