Reverse description Zeus Nikephoros enthroned left upon an ornate throne, extending his right hand forward to present a Nike figure, while his left hand rests upon a tall scepter. The field to the outer left contains a control symbol or monogram (variable by emission), and beneath the throne appears the monogram ΔΙ. The entire design is enclosed within a laurel wreath tied at the apex, a standard Seleucid reverse convention. The composition reflects the canonical Zeus enthroned type employed throughout the Seleucid dynastic coinage.
