| Description de l’avers | Youthful bare head of Heracles in right-facing profile, clad in the Nemean lion skin headdress, the scalp and paws knotted beneath the chin, rendered in the fine Hellenistic style characteristic of late Alexandrine coinage. The musculature and curling mane of the lion skin are crisply detailed, framing the clean-shaven, idealized features of the hero. A beaded border encircles the field. No legend appears on the obverse, the type relying entirely on the iconic portrait to convey divine authority. |

| Description du revers | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned to the left on a stool-throne, his draped figure rendered with commanding authority; his outstretched right hand bears an eagle, while his left hand grasps a tall sceptre. In the left field, the magistrate's name ΔΑΜΑΤΡΙΟΣ is inscribed vertically above a Rhodian rose symbol, with the civic ethnic ΡΟ placed below the throne. The primary legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field, identifying the issue as struck in the name of Alexander the Great. The composition follows the canonical Alexandrine reverse type, here adapted with distinctly Rhodian civic symbols asserting the mint's identity. |
