| 背面描述 | An eagle stands facing, with head turned to the left and wings spread, rendered in the bold, stylized manner characteristic of Alexandrian tetradrachms. The bird holds a wreath in its beak and a palm frond is visible to the right. To the lower right of the eagle appears the regnal date inscription L A, denoting Year 1 of Claudius II's reign, equivalent to 268-269 AD. The field is plain and the design fills the flan in the typical manner of late Roman provincial issues from Alexandria. The overall composition follows the long-established Alexandrian reverse eagle type used throughout the 3rd century. |
