| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Caracalla facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed curled hair and short beard characteristic of the emperor's mature portraiture. The effigy displays a strong, idealized profile with a prominent nose and full beard arranged in tight curls. A laurel wreath crowns the head. The circular Greek legend surrounds the bust, reading ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ ΑΝΤΩΝΙΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ, identifying the emperor as Antoninus Augustus. The style is consistent with the Antioch mint workshop of the Severan period. |

| Reverse description | Eagle standing facing with wings spread, head turned to the right, displayed in a bold and commanding composition typical of Syrian provincial coinage. Between the eagle's legs, a small figure or symbol is visible in the lower field. The circular Greek legend ΔΗΜΑΡΧ ΕΞ ΥΠΑΤΟ Δ surrounds the type, recording Caracalla's tribunician power and his fourth consulship. The flan is slightly irregular in shape, consistent with hand-struck provincial tetradrachms of the Antioch mint. The overall style reflects the strong local engraving tradition of the eastern Roman provinces. |
