| Beschrijving keerzijde | A horse prancing vigorously to the left, rendered in the bold, highly stylized Celtic artistic idiom with exaggerated musculature and elongated limbs. The flowing mane and tail are depicted with deeply cut, curvilinear lines, characteristic of East Noric die engraving. The foreleg is raised in a prancing posture, and the field around the horse is largely plain. The overall composition reflects the progressive abstraction of the Macedonian tetradrachm prototype typical of the Brezelohr A series. |
