| Beschrijving voorzijde | Celticized laureate head of Zeus facing right, derived from the Macedonian prototype of Philip II tetradrachms. The facial features are rendered in a stylized Celtic manner, with large almond-shaped eye, prominent nose, and a small pellet grouping to the right of the chin. The hair is rendered as a mass of flowing, schematized locks curling behind the head, while the laurel wreath is abstracted into broad, leaf-shaped forms crowning the top of the head. The entire portrait fills the flan and is executed in the bold, plastic Celtic artistic tradition characteristic of eastern European imitative coinage. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A Celtic horseman (Baumreiter) galloping to the right, depicted in a highly stylized and abstracted manner typical of eastern Celtic coinage. The rider sits atop a prancing horse, his body rendered schematically with globular joints and a patterned helmet with flowing crest; he appears to carry a lance or staff extending diagonally across the field. The horse's musculature is reduced to rounded, globular forms with pellet-tipped legs and a curvilinear tail. Scattered around the horse and rider are typical Celtic decorative devices including pellets, annulets, and stylized plant or serpentiform motifs in the field. |
