Obverse description King Azes II depicted in military attire on horseback, horse advancing to the right, the rider raising a whip in his right hand. The effigy is rendered in a robust, stylized Indo-Scythian artistic tradition with pronounced relief. A circular Greek legend surrounds the central device within a beaded border, reading ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΝ ΜΕΓΑΛΟΥ ΑΖΟΥ, translating as 'Of the Great King of Kings Azes.'

Reverse description Standing figure of Athena-Pallas facing right in the field, her right arm extended forward and her left hand grasping a long trident, rendered in a Hellenistic-influenced style adapted to Indo-Scythian coinage conventions. A dynastic symbol appears in the left field. The surrounding legend in Kharosthi script runs clockwise within a beaded border, providing the Indic parallel title of the king.
