The body of the horse is compact and powerfully modelled, with the legs depicted as elongated curved lines terminating in pellet-like hooves. A prominent circular eye is rendered as a large raised pellet on the head, characteristic of the Augen-Stamm type. Three pellets or globules appear beneath the horse's neck or chest area, a recurrent secondary motif on this series.
