| Beschrijving voorzijde | Head of Herakles in right profile, wearing the scalp of the Nemean lion as a headdress, the gaping leonine jaw visible above the brow and the forepaws knotted at the neck. The facial features are rendered in a robust Hellenistic style, with a prominent nose, full lips, and a strong chin. The mane of the lionskin falls in deeply engraved, flowing folds behind the neck and across the lower field. No legend appears on the obverse, the design closely following the established Alexandrine tetradrachm iconographic tradition. |
