Reverse description The king is depicted mounted on horseback, advancing to the right in a dynamic equestrian pose typical of Central Asian royal coinage. The royal dynastic tamgha in the form of an 'S' symbol appears to the left of the horse in the field. A Chorasmian-script legend encircles the design around the periphery, identifying the ruler as King Artramush. The reverse lettering is partially preserved, with some characters illegible due to wear and the irregular flan characteristic of hammered issues of this period.
Reverse script Greek/Chorasmian
