Additional information

Sellwood 30 remains one of the more contested attributions in Parthian numismatics. The "Unknown king" designation reflects a genuine scholarly impasse — the ruler cannot be securely identified from surviving textual sources, and die studies have not resolved the question. Some specialists have proposed Sinatruces or an otherwise unattested co-regent, but no attribution has held. The Sunrise 311 cross-reference places this within a well-documented hoard context without settling the identity problem.
