| Obverse description | Head of Athena facing right, wearing a crested Attic helmet adorned with a serpent coil at the bowl and decorated cheek guards, with long wavy locks of hair cascading below the neckguard. The portrait is rendered in the Hellenistic style, with fine facial features in sharp relief against the broad, plain field. The helmet crest rises prominently above the head, terminating in radiating plume feathers. No legend appears on the obverse. |
