Reverse description The Dioskouroi, Kastor and Polydeukes, depicted as mounted horsemen riding vigorously to the left, each bearing a couched lance levelled forward in the Macedonian cavalry manner. The monogram of the mint appears to the right, with the abbreviation TPY above it. The Seleucid regnal date HΞP (year 168 of the Seleucid Era, corresponding to 145 BC) is inscribed below the horses. The entire reverse design is enclosed within a decorative wreath composed of lily blossoms, ivy leaves, and grain ears. The royal titulature ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ ΕΠΙΦΑΝΟΥΣ ΔΙΟΝΥΣΟΥ is disposed around the outer field.
