Obverse description Diademed head of Antiochos I Soter facing right, the diadem ends visible behind the neck. The portrait is rendered in the Hellenistic style with finely modelled facial features, a strong jawline, and slightly parted lips. The hair is elaborately rendered with voluminous curls swept back from the forehead and bound by the royal diadem. The field is plain, with a dotted border visible along the coin's periphery.
