| Beschrijving voorzijde | Diademed head of Antiochos Hierax facing right, rendered in the refined Hellenistic portrait style characteristic of Seleucid coinage. The hair is depicted in loose, wind-blown waves falling behind the neck, with a broad diadem tied across the forehead and its ends trailing behind. The youthful facial features are finely modeled, with a straight nose, slightly parted lips, and a strong jaw. The field is plain, with no border or additional devices. The portrait reflects the idealized Hellenistic royal effigy tradition derived from Macedonian coinage. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Apollo seated left on an omphalos, his nude body turned in three-quarter view with drapery gathered beneath him. He holds a long arrow in his right hand, extended outward, and rests his left hand on a grounded bow. The omphalos, decorated with a net-like pattern, serves as his seat. The two-line Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ to the right and ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ to the left flanks the central figure vertically. In the exergue appear control marks consisting of Houghton Monograms 413 and 414 flanking a round shield, the arrangement varying by die variety. |
