Obverse description Youthful head of Heracles in right-facing profile, beardless, wearing the Nemean lion skin headdress, the scalp draped over the crown with the lion's forelegs knotted beneath the chin. The finely modelled features display an idealized physiognomy associated with Alexander III, rendered in high relief with carefully articulated hair curling beneath the lion pelt. A dotted border frames the design.

Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a low backless throne (diphros), his body depicted in three-quarter view; his outstretched right hand supports an eagle with closed wings, while his left hand grasps a long sceptre. In the left field, a boar's head facing left serves as a control symbol. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field, and the design is enclosed within a dotted border.
