Obverse description Heavily worn and largely effaced obverse typical of a fouree fabrication, retaining only the faintest traces of the helmeted effigy of Athena facing right, rendered in a schematic, debased style consistent with contemporary imitative production. The silver plating is substantially intact across the central field, though the base metal core is exposed along the irregular flan edge. The overall relief is extremely low, with surface porosity and die-slip consistent with substandard casting or striking of the base-metal planchet. No legible inscription is discernible on this face.
