Obverse description Facing right, the youthful head of Herakles rendered in high relief, depicted wearing the Nemean lion skin headdress, with the scalp drawn over the crown and the paws knotted at the throat. The facial features are finely modeled in the idealized Hellenistic style, with a strong profile, slightly parted lips, and naturalistic curling hair visible beneath the lion scalp. The border of the flan is plain and irregular, consistent with hand-struck production. No legend appears on the obverse.
