Reverse description Zeus Aetophoros seated in three-quarter left view upon a low-backed throne, his upper body nude and his lower body draped, holding a long scepter vertically in his left hand and extending his right hand forward bearing an eagle. The throne legs are rendered with careful detail, with a footstool visible beneath. In the left field, a forepart of a helmet or similar control mark appears. The legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs downward along the right field, identifying the issuing authority. The composition is enclosed within a beaded border and reflects the canonical reverse type established for Alexander III coinage across all mints.
