Reverse description Zeus Nikephoros enthroned left, seated on a high-backed throne, his right hand extended holding Nike (Victory), and his left hand resting on a long scepter. The field to the outer left bears the control mark ΙΣΙ, while a control symbol — varying by die variety — appears beneath the throne. The royal legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs in two lines flanking the enthroned figure, identifying the issuer as King Alexander. The composition follows the canonical Seleucid reverse type derived ultimately from Macedonian coinage conventions.
