| Description du revers | Owl standing right with head facing forward, a composition closely derived from the classical Athenian New Style tetradrachm tradition. An olive sprig and crescent appear in the field to the left behind the owl. The ethnic inscription AΘE is positioned in the field to the right before the owl, identifying the Athenian prototype. The design is executed in the Hellenistic manner, reflecting the continued circulation and imitation of Athenian coinage types in the eastern Greek world. |
