Beschrijving voorzijde Helmeted head of Athena facing right, wearing a crested Attic helmet with the bowl decorated by an elaborate vine scroll motif; the cheek flap is fashioned in the form of a horse's head with a Pegasus figure above it, while the brow line of the helmet is adorned with the foreparts of five horses in relief. The portrait is rendered in the Hellenistic style, with fine detailing characteristic of Carian civic coinage of the period.

Beschrijving keerzijde A horizontal club occupies the central field, with Nike advancing left in the lower register, both arms raised to hold aloft a wreath. A monogram reading ΣΚΥ appears to the left of the club and a monogram reading ΩΔPΝ to the right. The entire composition is enclosed within an oak wreath, a device commonly employed in the civic coinage of Asia Minor during the Hellenistic period. The ethnic legend HPAKΛEΩTΩN runs around the design, identifying the issuing city.
