A large ornate pendant earring and a beaded necklace adorn the figure. The facial features are finely modeled with a delicate profile, reflecting the strong artistic influence of Syracuse coinage. The overall treatment of the hair, with its individualized curling locks cascading behind the neck, displays exceptional engraving quality characteristic of the finest Punic-Sicilian workshop production. |

Above the horse, a stylized palm tree (symbol of Carthage) with frond clusters shown in schematic form occupies the upper field.
