| Reverse description | A bold incuse square dominates the reverse, subdivided by raised ridges into four recessed quadrants of roughly equal size, forming a characteristic mill-sail or swastika-like pattern within the incuse depression. This deeply punched incuse design is consistent with early archaic Greek coinage technique, where the reverse die consisted of a simple punch driven into the blank to secure it during striking. The surface within the incuse is irregular and granular, reflecting the primitive hammered production method. No legend or additional devices are present. |
