| Obverse description | Janiform (double-faced) head of divine character, with the laureate and bearded head of Zeus facing left conjoined with the diademed head of Hera facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic artistic tradition. The two profiles share a common neck and are depicted in high relief, their opposing gazes symbolic of the island's tutelary deities. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, characteristic of late Hellenistic civic coinage. |
