| Opis rewersu | A quadripartite incuse square divided by raised ridges into four deeply recessed, roughly equal rectangular compartments, each with an uneven granular surface resulting from the hammered striking technique. This archaic mill-sail or windmill pattern is a hallmark of early fifth-century BC Thracian coinage and served primarily as a functional anvil impression. The incuse is cleanly executed with well-defined raised dividing ribs meeting at the centre. No legend or subsidiary device is present. |
