Reverse description Dionysos depicted in full figure, standing nude to the left, with his weight distributed in a relaxed contrapposto stance. The god holds a bunch of grapes in one hand, two long spears in the other, and a chlamys or cloak is draped over his arm or shoulder. Control monograms appear in the inner left and inner right fields. The encircling Greek legend reads ΔΙΟΝΥΣΟΥ ΣΩΤΗΡΟΣ ΜΑΡΩΝΙΤΩΝ, identifying the type as struck in honor of Dionysos Soter by the Maronites.
