Obverse description Obverse depicts the Great King of Persia in the iconic archer type, shown in kneeling-running stance to the right, wearing the kidaris (royal Persian crown) and the kandys (sleeved royal robe). The king draws a strung bow with both hands, with a quiver of arrows visible over his right shoulder. The figure is rendered in a dynamic, archaic Greek artistic style adapted for Achaemenid imperial iconography. The field is plain, with no legend or exergual inscription.

Reverse description Reverse presents a mounted warrior advancing to the right, wearing the distinctive kyrbasia (pointed Persian cap), in an active combat posture with a long spear raised aloft in the right hand as if to thrust. To the left of the horse, a bird's head facing right appears in the field, serving as a secondary symbol or possible mint mark. The composition is rendered in a vigorous, slightly archaic style consistent with Carian satrapal coinage of the mid-fourth century BC. No legend is present.
