背面描述	Artemis standing in three-quarter pose to the left, draped in a long chiton, holding a sceptre in her right hand and a wreath in her left. A deer stands to her left, its head turned to the right. The genitive legend APTEMIΔOΣ descends in the right field and ΠEPΓAIAΣ descends in the left field, identifying the coin as issued in honour of Artemis of Perge, the principal civic deity of the city.

附加信息	Perge was among the most prosperous cities in Pamphylia, its wealth built substantially on the sanctuary of Artemis Pergaia, whose cult drew pilgrims and revenue from across the eastern Mediterranean. The city retained the right to strike silver — a privilege Rome permitted selectively in the region — well into the second century BC, making these tetradrachms a product of negotiated autonomy rather than simple local tradition. The SNG France specimens referenced here provide the primary comparative basis for attribution; relatively few die studies have been conducted on the Pergaean series compared to better-documented Pamphylian neighbors like Aspendos.
